Wow!!! What a Year! I’m just going to say it, 2019 takes the cake, the pie, the strudel, the croissant, the donut….everything! 2019 takes it all! It was a year full of changes, goodbyes and new beginnings. I haven’t blogged since May and it really is a testament to madness. We took a major leap of faith and relocated our family to Kansas City. Ted took his dream job out here doing User Experience and Interface design and I took a much needed step back to enjoy my family. Especially my boys, who are all growing at lightening speed.

We love Kansas City and feel at home like we never imagined. I fully expected to hate it here, but I don’t. Not even close. Of course we miss Colorado! We miss our family and our friends, and especially our clients but Kansas has given us such a different shift in our little world and it was a shift we needed. Since July, I’ve traveled back to Colorado 5ish times to take on sessions, and I will continue to do a few trips each year back, but I am excited to bring on more Kansas clients and meet more families and kiddos.

Now, onto 2019! Look at all these amazing families, kiddos, men and women we’ve been able to work with…even after 10 years, I still pinch myself at the end of every year. I am so lucky!
