Newborn Sessions
How We Make Photo Magic Happen
Due to their cute unpredictability, we will mark your due date as your 'session date' when booking and then once babe arrives, and you're home and settled in, we will pick a date (mid-morning in your home) for your session!
Sessions last between 1-2 hours to give us plenty of time for feeding breaks, snuggling and diaper changes. The best 'age' for your session is anytime in the first 3 weeks.
We'll get your due date on the calendar + then adjust accordingly.
Step one: let's get you booked!
Newborn sessions with me are true to life, relaxed and focused on going at baby's pace. We will have lots of breaks for feeding and diaper changes and I'll likely walk around with your baby swaddled, patting their butt and lulling them into a deep sleep...it's my favorite part of the job ;)
I don't do wraps or props, but I will use my years of experience to create natural poses that don't feel cheesy or over the top. We will get allllll the tiny details like their flaky skin and fuzzy cheeks as well as the beauty of this beautiful family you've created.

Step two: the fun part! let's shoot!
I LOVE the editing process. I pride myself on my attention to detail when editing. Skin tones are accurate, colors vibrant and you will feel like you final images belong in a magazine.
My turnaround time is about 4 weeks, give or take depending on the time of year. You will receive an online gallery where you can download your high resolution images in color and black and white. You will also receive a framed and matted fine art 8x10 print.
You'll get sneak peeks within a week and your full gallery in 4 weeks!
Step three: Post-Production

- At least 50 downloadable high-resolution images in color and black and white.
- Framed + matted fine art 8x10 print.
- Pre-session chat over the phone, 3 weeks prior to your due date where we will discuss timing, tips, clothing and everything in between.
- Image delivery in 4 weeks, previews in a week!
